A Gifted Coordinator

Bureau for Visual Affairs is looking for a dynamic self-starter to take on the mixed role of New Business Coordinator & Studio Manager.

The role is multifaceted, time will be divided between supporting and helping to coordinate our new business conversations — 3 days / week — and the management of our London-based studio with key operational work — 2 days / week.

New Business Coordination

The role of New Business coordinator spans the participation in all new business conversations, along with documentation and client liaison up to the contractual process. You will be working alongside our Director, helping to define and document our projects and relationships, liaising with our internal design and development teams as well as the client teams to drive this central aspect of the business.

We anticipate this aspect to take up three days of your week.

Studio Management Responsibilities

The studio management role is responsible for ensuring the studio operates as efficiently as possible. The role covers supplies and logistics, invoicing and liaising with our accountants when needed. We anticipate this aspect to take up two days of your week.

— Owning the client invoicing process

— Paying studio invoices, employee expenses

— Being the main point of contact for accounting

— Ordering studio supplies & suppliers

— Managing employee contracts, & payroll

— Owning employee holidays and sickness

— Managing the studio’s shared calendars

About you

We are looking for a motivated self-starter, with a keen interest in the digital space and the opportunities it offers. You should enjoy the process of liaising between what we think is a highly interesting community of clients (see below), and a very knowledgeable and motivated team.

You should also bring with you a good eye for detail, communications skills and, of course, a good understanding of the software you will be using — mostly but not exclusively Google cloud based.
